Today’s weather in Maldives

Maldives Weather

The Maldives experiences tropical climate which has two seasons only: the dry northeast monsoon which happens from December through March and the southwestern monsoon which is the wet season and that happens from May through November. Winds and rain are mostly present during the wet southwestern monsoon. April is known to be a transitional period and though the weather is constant at 30 degrees Celsius (86 Fahrenheit), trying to predict the weather in the Maldives can be difficult.

Most of the visitors who come into the Maldives come from Europe and they do so during the high season which extends from December through April. The reason most people will visit the area during that time of the year is because you get little rain and a lower humidity so visiting from Europe where it is colder during that time of the year is a popular choice.
